Kipper are compact construction machines designed for transporting loose materials (e.g. soil, rubble, sand) on construction sites and in difficult terrain.
Purpose
To transport materials over short distances, mainly in areas where larger machines are less efficient (narrow spaces, uneven terrain).
Sizes:
Kipper are available in various sizes:
Small: 1-2 tonnes (ideal for smaller sites or confined areas).
Medium: 2-10 tonnes (versatile, used on medium to large sites).
Large: 10-50 tonnes and above (used in mining and large infrastructure projects).
Key features:
Dump mechanism – Allows quick unloading via a hydraulically operated dumper.
Four-wheel drive (on most models) – Ensures mobility on difficult terrain.
Compact dimensions (on smaller models) – Easy to manoeuvre on tight jobsites.
Dump trucks are indispensable in the construction industry, especially where efficiency and mobility in material handling are required.
