How to Use the JCB Immobiliser in Telehandlers
The immobiliser in JCB telehandlersis a reliable security feature that prevents unauthorised use of the machine. Follow these steps to correctly start your telehandler:
1. Turn on the ignition – Turn the key to the “on” position.
2. Enter the code – Press the MD button on the keypad, enter the security code, and confirm by pressing ENTER.
3. Check the indicator – The green light in the left corner will stop flashing and switch to a solid light, indicating that the code has been accepted.
4. Start the engine – Turn the key to the “start” position (position 3) to start the telehandler.
Important: Make sure you enter the correct code. If the wrong code is entered three times, the telehandler will be locked for at least 1 hour.
